Team Building for Sigma Ukraine

Food unites. When people share a meal, the largest energy exchange occurs between them. Food brings together. When a large company cooks dinner together, and then share it at the common – this is work for a team in unusual conditions. It helps to get to know your colleagues better, for new people to quickly join the team, and for someone to break stereotypes about themselves. The team from Sigma Ukraine shares our views 😊 Therefore they chose a lesson in our school for a team building. Chef Ivan Slinko and sommelier Konstantin Vidoborenko combined their knowledge for the lesson “Synergy of Food and Wine” to create a synergy of taste that cannot be achieved by drinking wine and eating food separately. Wine Chiaramonte Nero d’Avola Firriato from sunny Sicily became the basis for sauce for veal medallions, salad dressings, lamb marinade and even sorbet. By the way, chef Ivan Slinko is a man who knows his meat. He taught us how to properly peel, chop and pickle different types of meat, how to use knives, look after them and grind them, how to use “5 fingers” rule to cook steak, and explained what “ripened meat” is and how to store beef at home, shared his secrets of making sauces and marinades. Thanks to our new friends from Sigma Ukraine for their thirst for knowledge and their willingness to open new culinary horizons!
