The Pink Lesson

In honour of one of (let’s say frankly, why we women should be shy 😊) the main holidays – International Women’s Day on March 8, a collective and unshakable women’s decision was made – to hold the “Pink Lesson”. Chef Alexander Stefoglo was given an overwhelming task – to come up with a menu where each dish will be pink. The chef (frankly speaking, a professional in cooking food and conquering women’s hearts 😊) coped with the task perfectly. The lesson guests, of course, were only women. We met each guest with an aperitif of thick pink sparkling wine. And already in a festive mood, we cooked pink pasta fresca and pink sauce with red caviar, a salad with grapefruit and tender pink ginger-lime panna cotta. Sommelier Ksenia Yangulova, Goodwine, offered two sparkling wines for the lesson: Filanda Rose Brut Millesimato Riserva Bortolomiol and Lambrusco dell ‘Emilia IGT Rosato Chiarli 1860, which complemented the taste of our food and gave us a cheerful mood. All day at our school joyful female voices were heard, resounding laughter, hundreds of compliments to the chef and each other, the delight of delicious food: a “pink noise”. The chef gave presents to all the guests: airy and weightless tulle flower brooches created especially for the lesson by designer Victoria Konovalyuk.
